Tokens are a form of temporary like or dislike. "Token" is the general term for headwinds and tailwinds.
Token Awards

Tokens are awarded in three ways:
- Based on the number of memes the user has rated across all of lolzzz.net.
- Based on ownership of memes that have R&D and Marketing levels which granted bonus tokens.
- Assistants can earn tokens by doing "Research Market Trend" missions.
